No. After use, place the Aqualis S1 back in the charging station. With the press of a button, the device cleans itself and dries the brush with warm air at 55°C. This keeps the Aqualis S1 fresh, even the next day.
On which floors can I use the Aqualis S1?
The Aqualis S1 is suitable for all hard floors, such as wood, laminate, tiles, and PVC. Choose the right setting (Eco, Max, or Auto) for optimal results. Before use, always test whether the above is the case and ensure that no damage occurs.
Do I need to clean the parts after use?
The Aqualis S1 does most of the work itself. You only need to empty the dirty water tank and rinse the filter clean.
Can I use other cleaning products with the Aqualis S1 besides Floor Cleaner?
No, we strongly advise against this. Samako Floor Cleaner is the only cleaning product specifically developed and tested for safe use with the Aqualis S1. Other cleaning products may cause excessive foaming or damage the device’s internal system and sensors. With Samako Floor Cleaner, you can be sure of optimal performance and a longer lifespan for your wet and dry vacuum.
How much Floor Cleaner should I use in the Aqualis S1?
Always dilute the Floor Cleaner for the Aqualis S1 wet and dry vacuum with water in the clean-water tank at the back of the device.
Use the following dosage as a guideline:
- Daily cleaning: 25–50 ml per 5 litres of water
- Normal dirt: 50–100 ml per 5 litres of water
- Heavy dirt: 150–250 ml per 5 litres of water

Ik vind de Aqualis S1 echt een top product. Hij maakt ontzettend goed schoon en na gebruik ziet de vloer er prachtig schoon uit. Toch zijn er een paar punten die ik minder prettig vind.
Zo vind ik de stofzuiger vrij zwaar en kun je hem niet plat genoeg leggen om bijvoorbeeld goed onder de bank of een kast te komen. Ook vind ik de kop vrij groot en dik, waardoor je op sommige plekken wat lastiger komt.
Het grootste nadeel vind ik helaas de geur. We legen na ieder gebruik het vieze water en laten de borstel schoonmaken met de automatische reinigingsfunctie. Toch ruikt de stofzuiger tijdens het gebruik niet fris en soms zelfs behoorlijk vies. Misschien komt dit door het filter, omdat we dat in het begin niet direct hebben schoongemaakt. Inmiddels krijgen we de geur helaas niet meer weg. Ik hoop daarom dat het probleem is opgelost wanneer we een nieuw filter plaatsen.
Dat vind ik vooral jammer omdat je bij dweilen juist dat lekkere, frisse en schone gevoel wilt hebben. De vloer ziet er na gebruik echt prachtig schoon uit, maar door de vieze geur ontbreekt dat frisse gevoel voor mij.
Als het geurprobleem opgelost kan worden, zou ik echt heel enthousiast zijn over de Aqualis S1. De schoonmaakresultaten zijn namelijk top!

Erg goed apparaat, fijne zuigkracht en goede dweilfunctie. Ben er erg blij mee. Ook goede service van Samako. Mijn pakket was kwijt, maar hebben vervolgens een nieuwe opgestuurd. Wel een verbeterpunt: in het instructiefilmpje wat wordt meegestuurd, wordt in plaats van de schoonwatertank, de vieswatertank gevuld bij de uitleg van hoe te beginnen. Ik raakte er even van in de war.

Ik ben zeer tevreden over het resultaat. Ik heb even moeten zoeken hoe het werkt want ik was nergens tegengekomen dat je hem naar achter moet kantelen. Even aanpassen naar een nieuwe manier van poetsen en ik ben blij met mijn aankoop. De vloer is ook snel droog en zonder strepen.

Werd daar niet goed van om telkens een emmer water te vullen en met de dweil erachter te gaan. Nu neem ik de dweilstofzuiger en ga erover en klaar. Spaar heel veel tijd en brengt voor mij rust. Werd verrast met deze dweilstofzuiger die ik zo gemakkelijk even erbij pak en mijn vloer er nog strakker bij ligt. Ben er heel erg tevreden over. Ooit over een Dyson dweilstofzuiger gedacht maar mega bedrag.... Dit is een heel goed product voor minder dan de helft van de prijs.

Ik heb de Aqualis S1 getest en wilde vooral weten of t zelfreinigen ook echt werkt. Nou dat doet het dus. Na het dweilen zet ik hem terug in het station, druk op de knop en je hoort hem even spoelen. Daarna tijdje blazen van warme lucht en is alles weer droog.
