The Samako CleanDetect Pro shows you what you’re cleaning. The full-width green LED light over the floorhead reveals fine dust on the floor, including under the sofa, along the skirting boards, and when the light is low. That way, you can see where you’ve already been and where you haven’t.

The Pro is the successor to our CleanDetect, and we started with what you asked us for: easier emptying. With one click, the large 0.8-litre reservoir opens while remaining attached to the appliance. No detaching, no dusty hands.

The 500W motor with three settings and AUTO mode works on hard floors, rugs, and carpets. AUTO adapts to your floor, so you don’t have to switch settings. Remove the wand and you have a handy handheld vacuum for the sofa, stairs, and car.

Finished? Hang it back on the wall. The wall mount charges it and keeps both attachments within easy reach. Charging takes 3 to 4 hours, which is 10% faster than its predecessor.

What is the difference compared with CleanDetect?

You can empty the Pro with one click while the reservoir remains attached to the device. The green LED bar spans the full width of the suction nozzle, the motor is 500W instead of 450W, and it has a slimmer design, making it easier to reach under furniture. It also runs for up to 70 minutes in eco mode and is fully charged again in 3–4 hours. The reservoir is 0.8 litres in both models.

Does it work on delicate fabrics?

Yes. Use the cold-water mode with the gentle brush head for delicate fabrics like silk or wool blends — always test a small hidden area first.

I already have a CleanDetect. Is the Pro worth it?

If lying down is uncomfortable for you, or if you want a second device for upstairs or for a second home: yes. If your CleanDetect works perfectly for you, you don’t need to switch. Note: the attachments for the CleanDetect do not fit the Pro.

How long does the battery last?

Up to 70 minutes in eco mode. At the highest setting, that is approximately 20 minutes, and less on carpet because the vacuum cleaner then requires more power.

What exactly does the green LED bar do?

The light skims low across the floor, revealing fine dust, crumbs, and hairs that are easy to miss with the naked eye. This way, you can see where you’ve already been and where you haven’t yet.

What does the AUTO mode do?

AUTO automatically adjusts the setting to the floor, for example when moving from tiles to a rug. This means you don’t have to switch it yourself.

How do I empty the reservoir?

Hold the vacuum cleaner over the trash can and press the release button once. The bin opens at the bottom and remains attached to the device.

How do I clean the filter?

Remove the round filter from the reservoir, tap it out, and let it dry completely before putting it back.

Is the CleanDetect Pro suitable for pet hair?

Yes. The floor brush picks up hair from floors and rugs, and the green LED light shows you where hair is still lying. For the sofa, stairs, and dog bed, use the 2-in-1 brush.

Should I leave it hanging in the wall mount?

That’s much more convenient. It charges as soon as you hang it in the holder, and both attachments hang next to it. You can also charge the battery separately.

Can I use it as a handheld vacuum?

Yes. Remove the handle and you have a handy handheld vacuum for the sofa, stairs, and car.

Does it stand independently?

Yes. Need to move it slightly or open the door? Put it down and it stays upright.
