Every Samako device undergoes the same rigorous quality check before it enters your home, from the first screw to the final inspection. This ensures you can rely on our products every day, such as this CleanDetect.

Test 1: the real suction power

We scatter various types of debris, such as sand and crumbs, over wood, tiles, and carpet, then measure what remains after a single pass. What matters is whether that’s enough to effortlessly vacuum up spilled muesli, cat litter, or sand from a day at the beach from your floor, even after two years.

Test 2: the power of the motor

The motor runs for hours on the test bench while we continue measuring airflow, temperature, and noise. This allows us to determine whether the device still moves the same amount of air after hundreds of cycles as it did on day one. The cyclone and filters undergo the same test, so you don't have to settle for less.

Test 3: the quality of the brush

On a treadmill, we pull the brush endlessly across carpet, laminate, and thresholds. Thousands of meters and hundreds of obstacles, compressed into a shorter period. That’s equivalent to years of following the same route through your home. We examine wear on the brush, the roller, and the running surface.

Test 4: the flexibility of the components

Pushing, pulling, tilting, under the bench and back up again; components such as hinges undergo tens of thousands of movements. We test until play develops, and keep optimizing until this point lies well beyond the promised service life.

Test 5: maximum endurance

The battery goes through complete charge and discharge cycles, the buttons are pressed thousands of times, and we check the screen for readability and responsiveness. Small components make a big difference. A device that still does exactly what you expect after two years doesn’t cause you a moment of hassle.

Test 6: sustainable reliability

The dust container is opened and closed hundreds of times, because that’s what you touch most often. We place metal parts in a salt spray chamber to trigger corrosion that you wouldn’t see at home until after years. Then comes the final manual inspection, the protective film is applied, and the box can be closed—ready for you to enjoy for years.
