Should I use demineralized water?
You can use tap water, but demineralized water helps prevent limescale buildup in the device. It is recommended in areas with hard water.
On which surfaces may I not use it?
Do not use on untreated or waxed wood or on materials that cannot withstand heat or moisture. Always test on an inconspicuous area first.
What is the difference compared with the Halo steam cleaner?
The AirSteam S1 is a handheld model for quick jobs and smaller surfaces. The Halo is mounted on wheels, has a tank for forty minutes of steaming and fifteen attachments, and is designed to clean the entire house in a single session.
Can I mop with it too?
Yes, with the separately available mop set. It clicks onto the AirSteam S1 and lets you mop upright on tiles, laminate, PVC, and marble.
Does the surface remain wet afterward?
Hardly any. Steam contains little water and evaporates quickly. Wipe afterwards with the microfiber cover for a streak-free result.
Does the hose get warm during use?
When steaming continuously for longer periods, the hose becomes hot. This is normal for 120°C steam. When tackling a large job, take a short break from time to time.
How much water does it hold, and how long will it last me?
Fill the reservoir using the included measuring cup. Enough for a bathroom or a kitchen in one go; then refill.

Ik ben niet super technisch, maar dit ging echt makkelijk. Klik -> vast. Heb er de voegen in de badkamer mee gedaan (oogt altijd zo vies) en dat ging echt sneller als met een borstel en schoonmaakmiddel. Je ziet gewoon dat de stoom het vuil omhoog duwt. Alleen de slang werd warm na een tijdje, dus ff pauze genomen.

Ik was eerlijk gezegd een beetje sceptisch, want ik heb al zóveel geprobeerd op mijn eetkamerstoelen. Maar je ziet gewoon echt het moment dat de stoom het vuil los laat. Het is bijna satisfying om te kijken haha. De stof voelde schooner aan en rook ook frisser, zonder die chemische geur die je normaal hebt. Je moet wel even de hoes goed strak trekken, anders schuift hij een beetje. Maar verder echt top apparaat.

Apparaat ontvangen en gelijk aan de slag. 1 ste keer in de gootsteen in de badkamer verloor ik gelijk een bosje haren uit het schoonmaakborstertje. 1 gaatje zat duidelijk niet goed vast. Gelijk gemaild. Kreeg vrijwel direct contact. Ze stuurde gelijk een nieuwe op. Ik kreeg keurig een setje opzetstukken maar geen borsteltje. Dit natuurlijk gelijk weer gemaild, maar helaas geen gehoor…..nogmaals maar eens gemaild maar helaas nog geen bericht ontvangen. En nu een mail met de vraag, we hebben nog niets van u gehoord hoe bevalt de stoomreiniger……
De stoomreiniger doet volgens mij prima zijn werking maar de communicatie?.. Ik hoop nu eens iets te horen en een nieuw borsteltje te ontvangen.

Mooi apparaat, nog een beetje uitvogelen hoe en eigen maken. Krijg alleen de borstelkop niet goed op de hoek spuitmond. Maar vaatwasser mooi schoon gekregen.
Maar iets wat ik niet snap...
zie deze op bol stukken goedkoper staan... ? Das wel jammer en ik denk hoe dan? Goedkoper ergens anders?

Ik ben er heel erg blij mee, want hij heeft vlekken uit mijn WC pot kunnen halen, die ik met van alles al geprobeerd heb te verwijderen. En ramen gezeemd en het ligbad ermee schoongemaakt en het aanrecht goed schoon.

Ik moet er aan wennen. Ik moet er wat handiger in worden om te gebruiken. Ik ben nog een beetje zoekende waar ik elk aparte mondstuk voor kan gebruiken. De aansluiting voor het kleine borsteltje vind ik wel minder, dit was beter geweest met een schroef bevestiging in plaats van zo goed mogelijk aanduwen.
Verder nog in de ontdekkingsfase.
