2020

How it started

It was the year our journey began. As a 25-year-old full of passion, I, Anna, decided to make my dream come true. With a deep love for a clean and tidy home, I had already collected an arsenal of cleaning equipment. Yet there was always something missing, whether it was functionality or design. At the kitchen table - typically enough - the idea to pursue my passion arose, and so I registered with the Chamber of Commerce. A bold step as a 25-year-old, but it felt good. I was bursting with energy! After days and nights of experimenting with different products, ideas began to bubble up for not one, but several innovative solutions. I decided to take the plunge and looked for an investor who could share my vision. The investor was found, the first designs were created, and after countless feedback sessions with friends and family, I finally had my first products in my hands. I proudly launched my website and soon established partnerships with well-known retailers. But I quickly learned that it's not just about a beautiful website, but about the total experience. A personal approach, excellent service and ease of use in the broadest sense of the word.

By incorporating this into our first marketing campaign, sales flowed in. We couldn't believe our luck, we will never forget that moment. Going to the post point by bike every day became a regular part of our day, suddenly we had a successful webshop.







2021

Fall and rise

2021 was the year in which we bought our first truck, together we put all our well-earned catering savings together and decided to go for it. Our 3 kitchen items had now made a big sprint and the stock became enormous! With the new stock we were able to send even more packages throughout the Netherlands.

With great growth, of course, also comes the necessary customer questions. We remember well how this went; calling, chatting and even facetime. It didn't matter to us how, as long as we could help the customer properly. Service is the starting point for us and has been so important from the very first moment. We always want to maintain this personal approach.

2021 was also the year in which our webshop received an even bigger boost due to - yes - the corona crisis. Due to the enormous demand, we were given the opportunity to add new designs to our range and make our wish list a reality. Our visions were designed with the help of design students.

With so many new products planned, our 'small webshop' suddenly became very serious and we grew into a professional brand.







2022

What do we stand for?

In 2022, we wanted to strengthen our story and focus even more on ensuring the health of our customers. We decided to focus on steam technology to remove bacteria up to 99.9% effectively, allowing us to provide a cleaner and healthier living environment. As part of this focus, we have designed our latest item, the Stomer Royal Elite, to provide our customers with an advanced solution for deep cleaning.

We have also worked hard on expanding our range. With a keen eye for the needs of our customers, we have further diversified our product line so that we can continue to meet the changing demands and desires of modern cleaning.

Of course, there were also challenges and obstacles on our way. We faced factory defects, delivery delays, and even a two-month out-of-stock period due to a late order. But every setback was an opportunity to learn and improve. We have turned every mistake into a lesson, making us better and stronger every year.

The year 2022 was an exciting chapter in our journey. With every step we take, we anchor ourselves deeper in our mission to transform the cleaning experience. The future is bright for Samako, and we look forward to the many adventures yet to come.


2023

Growing Focus

In 2023, Samako was marked by a major transformation. We started the year with a major rebrand that was rolled out throughout the rest of the year. Our focus was on innovating packaging and marketing to achieve our ultimate goal: becoming a professional and recognized brand.

As the icing on the cake, we launched our new website in August, which quickly proved to be a success. Sales through our own channel increased and led to sales successes independent of platforms such as Bol.com. But the absolute highlight of 2023 was our first visit to suppliers in October.

This trip was not only a business adventure, but also an invaluable opportunity to learn and grow. Our team visited inspiring trade fairs and established new partnerships, making us increasingly stronger and more resilient.

As part of our growing focus on customer satisfaction, we plan to focus on offering packages to truly take care of our customers.

What are we doing now?

We are currently busy expanding our range, something we are really passionate about. We are constantly looking for new ways to surprise our customers and provide them with the best cleaning solutions available. It's been great to see our brand grow and evolve, and we're grateful for the support of our amazing community.

In addition, forming a close bond with our customers is one of our biggest priorities. We not only want to offer great products, but also create a warm and supportive community where people feel at home. Cleaning is not only about removing dirt, but also about creating an environment in which you feel good and can relax. And we strive for this every day, because we believe that a clean home is the start of a happy life.
