How long does the battery last?

Up to 60 minutes on the lowest setting. On the highest setting and on carpet, this is shorter because the vacuum cleaner requires more power.

What exactly does the dirt detection do?

A laser in the floor brush illuminates dust particles that are invisible to the naked eye. The vacuum cleaner measures how much dirt passes through and adjusts the suction power accordingly, so you don't have to switch settings yourself.

Is CleanDetect suitable for pet hair?

Yes. The included attachments pick up hair from hard floors and carpets. For hair deeply embedded in furniture or mattresses, the electric hair brush is more suitable and is available separately.

Should I leave it in the wall mount?

That’s certainly convenient. The battery charges automatically as soon as you click it into the holder, so it’s always ready. You can also charge it separately with the included charger.

How do I clean the filter?

Open the dust container with one press of the button, empty it, and rinse the HEPA filter under the tap. Let the filter dry completely before putting it back.

Can I use it as a handheld vacuum?

Yes. Remove the handle and you have a handy handheld vacuum for the sofa, stairs, and car.

Does it stand independently?

Yes. You don't have to lean it against the wall when you need to move something briefly.

What is the difference compared with the CleanDetect Lite?

The CleanDetect is designed for longer, more thorough cleaning sessions: 450W, up to 60 minutes, and automatic dirt detection. The Lite is lighter and more compact, with 200W and up to 35 minutes, and is intended for quick daily cleaning.

In our opinion, the floor was fairly clean, but what we found in the Samako surprised us a lot. Proof that the vacuum does its job well and it’s also easy to store, great device!

I was skeptical, but now I’m happy!

Two days ago I was skeptical in the reviews. It drained quickly on the highest setting. Today I vacuumed with a full battery. We set it to automatic mode, which is much better! It automatically increases power when needed. The design is also so beautiful; we think it adds a lot of luxury to our hallway. The suction power is perfect, battery life is great, and the design is a solid 10! After being skeptical, I can recommend this to everyone. By the way, it comes with some nice attachments. Our mattress nozzle broke when unpacking the vacuum from the box. I was a bit too enthusiastic unpacking; it’s so beautiful. So unfortunately, we can’t try that nozzle. Otherwise, I would recommend this vacuum to everyone. So don’t hesitate! You won’t regret it.

Still skeptical

Received this beautiful stick vacuum today. We were really looking forward to it! The vacuum looks fantastic. The design is truly beautiful! Absolutely. It’s a bit heavy in hand, but I think it’s just a matter of getting used to it. We wanted to test it right away; the battery was still at 65% according to the screen. My 9-year-old daughter wanted to do it, so that was fine. After 5 minutes (just a bit of the living room), the battery was already below 20%, and it got warm and blew quite warm air from the top. We had it on the lowest setting for the first 2 minutes, but because it didn’t pick up all the dust, my daughter switched it to higher suction power. The battery literally drained on this setting; she saw it counting down, which is really a shame. So with 65%, we probably vacuumed for just 5 minutes. A few minutes on low, a few minutes on high. We have it on the charger now, waiting for it to reach 100%. But I thought I read somewhere that it should work for 20 minutes on a full battery at high power? And 60 minutes on low. For now, that doesn’t seem to be happening. We’re waiting with high hopes, hopefully better results with a full battery.
Pieces of (wrapping) paper should be picked up from the floor beforehand, they get stuck in the mouth. We still had a piece under our dining table, my daughter accidentally vacuumed it up, but then it gets stuck. Our hair was also wrapped around the side of the mouth and around the filter. I got it off though. No problem. We have quite long hair. I will come back to this later if it works, for now we are still a bit skeptical. But the design is really fantastic, very beautiful.

That HEPA filter is top!

What a difference, after 3 months the filter is completely full of dust, really great that it also filters the air, I have much less allergy symptoms. Just tap it out and it was ready to go again, I could also always reorder the filters. Extremely happy with this vacuum cleaner!

Battery lasts long and very good suction power.
Bought this Steel vacuum cleaner based on the many good reviews. And so far very satisfied. Glad I can test it for two weeks and possibly return it if dissatisfied. But this will not be necessary. Already vacuumed upstairs and downstairs twice and the battery was not empty yet. The only downside is that I find it a bit heavy but otherwise very satisfied. Hopefully it lasts a long time!
