This privacy statement applies to the Father’s Day promotion by Samako, where you have a chance to win a Kamado BBQ (worth €799). The promotion runs from June 15, 2026, to June 23, 2026. We handle your personal data carefully. Below you can read which data we process, why, and what your rights are.

For participation in the promotion and processing your order, we process:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your phone number
  • Your address details

This data is necessary to process your order and, if applicable, to contact you as a winner and deliver the prize.

3. What do we use your data for?

We use your data for:

  • Processing and delivering your order;
  • Executing the promotion (participant registration, drawing, and contacting the winner);
  • Sending newsletters and offers, only if you have given separate and explicit consent;
  • Compliance with legal obligations.

4. On what basis do we process your data?

  • Processing your order: performance of the contract.
  • Execution of the promotion: our legitimate interest in carrying out the promotion, based on the terms and conditions you accept when participating.
  • Newsletter/marketing: your separate, explicit consent. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link at the bottom of every email.

5. How long do we keep your data?

  • We keep participation data until no later than 6 months after the promotion ends, after which we delete it, unless you have given permission for the newsletter.
  • We keep order data as long as necessary and legally required (including the 7-year fiscal retention obligation).
  • We keep newsletter data until you unsubscribe.

6. With whom do we share your data?

We never sell your data to third parties. We only share your data with parties who help us execute the promotion and your order, such as:

  • Our email/marketing software Klaviyo;
  • Our delivery and logistics partner (for shipping orders and prizes);
  • Our payment service providers.

We have concluded processor agreements with these parties. When data is processed outside the EU, we ensure appropriate safeguards.
